Why choose GitrFIX
Guitar service is a science, just for artists. Fretted instruments of all types have always been sophisticated. In some ways more so than classical instruments. Technical specifications that if not met, will cause them to play so poorly that the music suffers.
- Each fret relies on the next. If one fret is high or low by the thickness of a sheet of paper that note or the next will buzz or barely play.
- The truss-rod, when adjusted to specs, opposes the tension put on the neck by the strings. This critical adjustment plays a major role in playability.
- Other parts including the nut, bridge and saddles have an impact on tuning and intonation which is how in-tune fretted notes are compared to open notes. Tuning problems are real spoiler of every note played.
